Matching dresses

Well I finished my friends matching dresses. She just had her second little girl and who wouldn't want them to match so I made this little dresses!

I hope that she likes them!!

Well I am late telling you the fact or fiction from last Friday!! It is fact. A man in Feb of 1990 walked into a leather and weapons store and tried to rob the place. He didn't notice the marked police car in the parking lot and he opened fire and was shot dead. So, fact: a man tried to rob a gun store and was shot dead....kinda funny!!!

Brother's Done quilt

Well it is finally done!! I told each of the kids that they could pick out all the fabric for a quilt for thier very own so here is my oldest sons quilt. I finished the binding today and surprised him when he was done with school. It hasn't left his side since. I hope you love it, brother!!!

Technology

I am amazed at the technology out there and what we use! I mean I have three computers at my house. I do facebook. I have a blog (duh) well really I have two! I just started a twitter account. I am getting a computerized sewing machine in a couple of days. I mean it is truely amazing. I am thankful for technology and how it helps me daily. Whether it is for the microwave lunches or the embroidary machine working it's magic. The other thing I am thankful for is that it keeps food on our table and a roof over our heads. Yes, my husband is a geek. I love him for that. It means I don't have to learn to much of computer stuff.

so today I am thankful for technology in my daily life, even though sometimes it can drive me crazy!

Creative laziness

Okay I have a lot going on at my craft space right now!! I am making two quilts, one for my grandma (super excited about that) and one for my second son, the first already has his. Then I am making a friend who just had her second girl matching dresses. Well this is where the laziness came it. I found a cute pattern and so I started on the big dress. It was all going well until I got to the sleaves. The way that the pattern makers had you do it was totally stupid. So then I decided that this dress will be sleeveless. It was for summer anyway, right. It looks cute. I will post some pictures tomorrow when I finish the hem.

So am I the only one that hate it when the pattern is either VERY hard to understand or set up totally dumb!?!?!?

And the answer to fridays fact or fiction is fiction. In the movie Back to the future II they don't make any prediction about the 1997 world series. So there ya go!!
