Either would be a great prize for me.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is filling the stockings at our house on Christmas Eve or sometimes on Christmas morning. (Thankfully our daughter has never been an early riser - I have to wake her up on Christmas morning because I am so anxious for her to check out her stocking.)
Aww, I just love that mushroom flannel. My favorite part of the holidays is giving presents. I'm a natural schemer, so I spend the entire year pondering what to get for my friends, sometimes I'll buy something six months in advance. It's really great to be able to finally give the present!
ReplyDeleteI love the holidays to be with Family and I like to make presents.

We love movies and it is a great way to get out of the house. (You know, family is great, but when you need some time off from being "on" around the fams, a movie theater is nice and quiet and dark!
ReplyDeleteMushroom fabric, please! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is all the board and card games with my crazy competitive family when we are all together. And I'd love the flannel - I'm making a scrappy flannel quilt right now, and have stalled out because I need more variety.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas tradition is getting together with my Husband's family and having our annual gift exchange. We all bring a woman's gift or man's gift and we play the game of taking your gift or taking someone else's gift. It is so funny and can get pretty competitive. The most coveted gifts are the original paintings by my Brother-in-law Dan Cochran. There is much laughing and loving during these get-togethers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. I love both prizes so either would be good to me. I think the thing I have loved the most with Sew Mama Sew givaway days are all the wonderful blogs I have found. I just can't look at them all, but I'm trying.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is that every Christmas Eve we go to the Dollar Store with my husband's family. His Dad gives us enough money to buy a $1 present for everyone. We sneak around the store dodging each other and picking out gifts and then go home and exchange them. When I was little, my dad used to go to my grandparents to butcher hogs on Thanksgiving so my mom started making peanut butter blossoms with me when I was about one. I got to unwrap the kisses. Now our children get to do the kiss unwrapping! I love Thanksgiving. *We don't eat turkey either! None of us like turkey, much to the dismay of my husband:)

I think my favorite tradition started tonight when my lil girl got to help decorate for the very first time! I got out the hymnal to practice for the big day(normally I sound like a dying cow:) and then she took her turn. So cute turning the page to find the right song, holding it in her hands, staring at the tree, and singing like no tomorrow. (she's not quite 3) I would have to say that I would love to have BOTH prizes!
ReplyDeleteFavorite tradition: baking as many cookies as humanly possible! I would love the mushroom fabric...thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, that mushroom fabric is too cute!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is gathering all the things or memroies of the past year, remembering them and being thankful for them. It's a great thing to do, and makes me realize and remember how luck I am.
I think my favorite tradition is getting together with my family on christmas eve at my great aunt's house. We eat, open presents and spend time with each other. I think this is the only time we are all together and we all have so much fun!

I think it's really sweet. :) I love the mushroom print flannel, it's just darling! So many possibilities. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteThe flannel is my choice too! Cookie Day is becoming one of my favorite Christmas things now that my grand daughter is old enough to REALLY help... she's 7 now. She joined, last Christmas, the "women" in our family making all of our holiday favorites.

ReplyDeletehttp://crissybell.blogspot.com
My fave tradition is decorating our tree with our sentimental ornaments... My first choice is the flannel, love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the chance!!!
Great blog and thanks for the giveaway. My favorite tradition is hiding the glass pickle on the Christmas Tree. I ran on to the glass pickle story and ornament at a local store in AStoria OR. We only have one child so I guess it probably isn't as fun as if you have a few but we still enjoy watching Alex look for the pickle. I would love to have the apron panel, my friend collects aprons and I would love to make it for her for Christmas. The flanel is great too. If I am lucky enough to win, you can decide. koletzke@centurytel.net
ReplyDeleteOh, that mushroom fabric is so sweet! My favorite tradition comes at Easter time. Simply taking a picture of my daughter dressed in her Easter best in front of our tulips. Not particularly exciting or unique, but my mom used to take pictures of my sisters and me in front of her tulips, so I'm carrying on the tradition. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! I like the mushroom flannel please.
ReplyDeleteFavorite old tradition - hubby and I go and cut a tree for our home the day after thanksgiving. A new tradition - we have a new daughter (one month old!) this year and we (well, I) decided to get a small live tree and the tree will grow with her. Each year, I'll make a handmade ornament for her so when she finally grows up and out of the house, she can take the tree with all different handmade ornaments with her to her new family.
I love both! My favorite tradition would be buying a new Christmas ornament. My aunt started that when I was born. And I have continued this into my adult life. Finding the perfect ornament to remind me of that year. :)
